Originally from a small town north of Pittsburgh (where these 'haunted' tunnels have somehow become a bike trail), I moved to New York City after graduating college with a bachelor's degree in journalism. Internships at some of the nation's largest consumer magazines led me to freelancing full time from my home in Queens.
Since starting college in 1999, I've written and edited for a variety of newspapers and magazines, engaging a range of topics from mass-transit crises in Pittsburgh to the lovely ladies of FHM.
At each publication I've worked for -- back to my first newspaper job covering council meetings in Punxsutawney (yes, like Phil) -- my editors have relied on me for sharp, accurate copy on deadline.
